Helping others can make a huge difference in yourself and the people you are helping. This year we started students in action (sai) and we have worked hard on many different projects such as the food drive and cradles to crayons. The food drive was the biggest project that we did the is year. We went into some of the fourth and fifth grade class rooms to help generate support for our cause. We walked in and all of the impressionable fourth graders looked up at us with a look of confusion and energy. They listen attentively and responded with good questions. The next grade they all brought in something to help out the hungry. The effect that we had on the food drive was enormous and it showed that just a small bit of leadership will go a long way. This act was not a huge fundraiser or project it was something very small that opened up the eyes of young people to the idea of making a difference in someone’s life they can then lead others to make a difference. Everything makes a difference no matter the size.
